Membership Committees

Membership committees are what keep the trust running. Find an area that you're interested in and learn about how you can get involved. Your involvement is what makes our events and mission possible – and you'll meet other neighbors who love Sanford as much as you do!

What does it mean to be on a committee?

Committees are the people who work behind the scenes. Each committee has the following positions:

  • Lead(s): A Sanford Historic Trust (SHT) Member who will lead the activities of the committee and provide guidance and instruction as needed
  • Board Liaison: A member of the SHT Board of Directors who will communicate committee activities and/or needs (including, but not limited to, budget and marketing) to the Board
