May is National Preservation Month, and every year the Sanford Historic Trust celebrates by recognizing the best residential homes and businesses dedicated to preservation and restoration by presenting preservation awards! Please join us on Thursday, May 20 at 7:00PM at 520 on the Water.
We will start with a brief membership meeting which is open to everyone. We will have a report from our Treasurer, discuss a few business items, take a look into our June meeting, and much more!
Afterward, we will have a presentation recognizing this year's Historic Preservation award winners. These homes and businesses were nominated by locals and chosen by a subcommittee, which included board members and regular members. The awards reflect the dedication these homeowners and local businesses have put into their preservation efforts.
Following the awards presentation, stay to talk to the award-winners and other preservationist enthusiasts, watch an amazing sunset, and enjoy a drink from the cash bar.
