The 37th Annual Holiday Tour of Homes: Now Featuring the Silver Lake Residential District, a First for the Tour

Sanford's most beloved holiday tradition is back, and this year it travels a little farther. For the first time in 37 years, the tour reaches beyond its usual footprint to the Silver Lake Residential District near the airport. This neighborhood has never been featured before, and it brings its own slice of old-school Sanford history, including historic homes and a grand estate. You'll visit these homes alongside favorites in Sanford Heights and the Historic District on a self-guided driving tour at your own pace.

What to Expect
This year's tour includes 13 stops across three neighborhoods: nine hand-picked homes, including a festive porch stop with Santa and snacks, plus four special stops along the way. Expect everything from cozy historic cottages to striking modern designs, each decorated for the season, along with architectural details, holiday décor ideas, and a close-up look at the neighborhoods that make Sanford home.

Join us in Magnolia Square from 9 AM to 4 PM, in partnership with Project Sanford. Shop local artisan goods, festive finds, and holiday treats, ideal for gift lists or a morning stroll before your tour.

Plan Your Visit
1. Check in at the Sanford Museum to get your wristband, tour map, and program.
2. Because the stops are spread across three neighborhoods, driving between locations is required.
3. Park near each group of stops.
4. Tour at your own pace and in any order. Hopper Academy and Community Garden close at 4 PM, so plan to visit them early.
