City of Sanford Historic Preservation Codes
Also known as Schedule S, the Historic Preservation Codes are tailored land development regulations enacted by the Sanford City Commission to safeguard the City’s historic charm and promote heritage tourism. The codes are overseen by the City’s historic preservation officer and a five member quasi-judicial Historic Preservation Board (HPB) appointed by the City Commission.
